= I don't like walking on the left side of the sidewalk!!! :) (Oh and this goes along with looking left to cross the road!)
But- it is so cool to hear so many languages spoken and so many different people. Sydney is certainly like New York in that way, everywhere you go a new person, language or culture! Way cool!
Sheldon and I were talking about how much different travel must have been 50 years ago- or 20 years ago for that matter. We have found so much using the Internet and kept in touch even half way around the world! It is cool now but also amazing to know just how much a person 50 years ago who was brave enough to travel must have had to get or go through in order to enjoy it and get around! People like Sheldon's great aunt Florence or my great grandma Branch-- wow! What did the world travelers do before Internet?? :)
Today we are going to manly by ferry- more pictures of the famous Manly beach soon! We are having a great time and loving every minute!
Oh- and many of you have asked for Hippie Van pictures--- we take possession Sunday- so more later, PROMISE!! We are going to have to not only learn to drive on the left BUT ALSO use a stick and a clutch on the left-- good times, good times. Wish us luck! It is a site to see.... and worth every penny (every penny of the $3,500 AU we paid for it!!)

ReplyDeleteWhen my sisters and I were in the UK, it was difficult to remember to look left first - but after a few days (and a few horns) it became natural!
