We rode the ferry from Sydney to Manly Beach in the waves and then found our way through town to sit at the beach and enjoy lunch together while watching the surfers catching some waves. After this we made our way to Shelly beach and onward to Sydney Harbor National Park. It is just beautiful here- even in the rain! With OUTSTANDING views of Manly AND Sydney at various points throughout the trail. The flora here is so much different then what we are used to .... very gorgeous! After our hike we did some grocery shopping for dinner and headed back to the hostel....in the waves! HOLY MOLY that ferry was rocking! On our way home we walked through a torrential downpour sure to shame anything in Sitka! It was crazy rain....(see section in Forrest Gump about all kinds of rain.....a little but of stinging rain.....)
Home to make dinner and hang out. Another great day with lots to see and do!
looks like you could have had one of those spiders on the "barbie" for dinner....Love from Murphy, who would have peed if he saw the spiders!
